Most dogs will take the tablet whole and find that the liver flavour of Enhanced Joint Support to be very appealing. However our tablets have been manufactured in such a way that they can be easily crumbled into your dog’s food for ease.
The daily dose for Enhanced Joint Support is based on your dog’s weight and is summarised in the points and image below.
- Smaller dogs (up to 15kg)
the recommended dosage is 1 tablet per day
- Medium dogs (between 15kg and 30kg)
the recommended dosage is 2 tablets per day
- Large dogs (30kg to 45kg)
the recommended dosage is 3 tablet per day
- Very large dogs (over 45kg)
the recommended dosage is 4 tablet per day
Where more than 1 tablet per day is being given we recommend spreading them out over the course of the day for example one in the morning, one at lunch and one in the evening.
Typically we expect to see improvement in your dog’s symptoms within 6-8 weeks but this will vary depending on the level of your dog’s joint problems.
You can double the dose in the first 4-8 weeks if this is your dog’s first time taking such a supplement to build up your dog’s depleted stores of the natural active ingredients that are contained in Enhanced Joint Support.
Enhanced Joint Care has an expiry date of 2 years from the date of manufacture. All of our products display the batch number and best before expiry (BBE) on the bottom – printed clearly in black. Please check the base of your product.
Our dog joint supplement tablets have a “tasty” liver flavour which dogs seem to love the taste of. Liver is considered to be good for dogs as its high in vitamins A, B, Iron, Copper and Zinc.
Our Dog Joint Care supplements are suitable for all adult dogs. An adult dog is normally classed as an adult from 12-24 months old.
Our Dog Joint Supplements are suitable for all breeds of dogs from Chihuahuas to Collies, from Golden Retrievers to Great Danes. Please check how many tablets are required according to your dog’s weight.
